Professional dancers captivated thousands of festivalgoers during the seventh annual Ridgefield Multicultural Festival on Saturday, Sept. 7, at Overlook Park in Ridgefield. The festival represented a sample of the diverse cultures present within Clark County.

Attendees enjoyed cultural music, art, food and dances during the festival. This year, activities from Tahitian, Indian, Mexican, Filipino, African, Japanese and other communities were available.

Festival founder and Ridgefield Multicultural Initiative President Megan Dudley spoke during the opening ceremony, emphasizing that individuals deserve a safe place to express and share their culture with their community.

In addition to the festival, Ridgefield Multicultural Initiative hosts cultural workshops and performances throughout the year. To learn more, visit ridgefieldculture.org
