I am a concerned Christian citizen, and this election has far-reaching consequences for our state and nation. As you fill out your ballot over the next two weeks, I ask you to ask yourself the following questions. Do you want your property taxes to continue to skyrocket? Do you want your car insurance rates to continue to skyrocket? What about gas prices? Washington has the 4th highest gas prices in the nation because of all the additional state gas taxes. Why is it so expensive to live here? Washington is ranked 6th for the most expensive housing in the nation. Again, this is because of all the state taxes, fees, and regulations. According to the Affordability Index, Washington State is ranked 40 for affordability (least affordable). Even though Washington’s education spending increased significantly, from $13,775 to $19,163 per student, Washington dropped from 27th to 31st in national education rankings. Let’s be honest, Democrats have been in control of Washington state’s governorship and both chambers of the legislature since 2018 and held the governorship for 40 consecutive years, starting in 1985, and maintained a majority in the state legislature for much of that time. In 2020 the Democrats pushed through the Comprehensive Sex Education Curriculum, written by Planned Parenthood, which accomplished all that it hoped to accomplish - sexualizing our children and opening the door to more teenage pregnancies, abortion, transgenderism, boys in girls’ sports, and yes, even increased sex trafficking. Do you want more abortions? Do you want boys in girls’ locker rooms and bathrooms and playing in girls’ sports? Do you want your son to be told he can be a girl and your daughter to be told she can be a boy? Do you want your parental rights stripped away?
Do you want higher taxes and a state income tax? Do you want higher insurance rates?
Now is the time to make a change. For our children. For our seniors. For our state. And for our nation.
