The Falcons girls basketball team opened up the season with a blowout win on Tuesday, Dec. 2, over Battle Ground, 60-26, but then experienced an obliteration in a 63-24 loss to Ridgefield High School on Thursday, Dec. 4.
Prairie High School held their school district rival to single-digit quarters in their commanding win on Dec. 2. The Tigers were led by Marissa Loveall with seven points while the Falcons were led with 14 points from Olivia Brown.
In the loss two days later, they cracked double digit scoring in just the third quarter, with just 12 points on top of a three-point first quarter, four-point second quarter, and five-point fourth quarter.
In the loss to Ridgefield High School, the Falcons were led by seven points from Olivia Brown and nine points from Ashlee Heer.
The Ridgefield Spudders were led by 20 points from Sava Chanda and 17 points from Madison Ingham.
The Falcons looked to bounce back against top recruits at Union High School on Tuesday, Dec. 9, but results were unavailable at press time. They next play at Columbia River High School on Friday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m.
