Runners in the Hellz Bellz Ultra 50-mile ultra marathon cross the Moulton Falls Bridge just before the final aid station enroute to Yacolt on Sunday, June 30.
As the race continues to grow each year since 2021, the town of Yacolt is seeing the economic benefits as participants and their friends and families camp overnight at the Yacolt Recreational Park prior to the 6 a.m. start, said Karissa Schoene, owner of WhyRacing Events and wife of Hellz Bellz Ultra organizer, Rod Schoene, with Bivouac Racing.
