Keith Curtis “KC” Hegge, 36, of Ridgefield, Washington, passed away suddenly at his family home in Ridgefield on May 14, 2024. He was born March 15, 1988 to Don and Lucy Hegge.
Keith was an active member in the Clark County 4-H program, showing cattle. After graduating from Ridgefield High School in 2006, he completed the culinary program at Clark College. He shared his love of cooking with his mom and dad. They hosted many gatherings of family and friends at the family farm.
About a year ago, Keith moved to Yuma, Arizona, with his dad, where he enjoyed hosting weekly family dinners at his home with his recently adopted dog, “Beauty.” When he was home in Washington, he loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews.
Keith is survived by his father, Don Hegge; his brother, Scott Hegge (Lori); his sister-in-law, Liz Carlston (Jeremy); his nieces and nephews, Willow, Luna-Lucille, Kaden and Nehemiah; his great-niece and nephew, Violet and Christopher; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucy Hegge; brother, Justin Hegge; grandparents, Segert and Elisabeth Rietdyk and Albert and Iris Hegge.
Family and Friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. June 11, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver, Washington, followed by a gathering at the Rietdyk farm.
