Battle Ground students earn Advanced Placement Capstone Awards

Battle Ground Public Schools (BGPS) announced that eight Battle Ground High School students earned Advanced Placement (AP) Capstone Awards for academic excellence.

The AP Capstone awards consist of the Capstone Diploma and the Capstone Seminar and Research Certificate. Students must earn a score of 3 or higher in AP Seminar and Research to earn the certificate. Diploma recipients must achieve a score of 3 or higher in both AP Seminar, Research and four additional exams, a press release by BGPS stated.

More than 100,000 students worldwide participate in the AP Capstone program each year. Approximately 21,000 received the AP Capstone Diploma and 11,100 students earned the AP Seminar and Research Certificate last during the 2023-24 academic year, the press release stated.
